Gone

It's like reaching out so hard to get what I want but it all comes down to nothing. What did we see in each other in the first place? I don't even know to that. It's like one moment I had you and the next, it's over. How I was ever able to accept this? I am still hurting but it's alright. Everything will work out fine, I believe, now I do, in myself. I'll never have the best of you, neither will you have the best, of me.
